Objectives
Mission
There are three objectives of our mission, they are:
01
To be a base for the installation and operation of equipment intended for research in Space Physics.
02
Conduct scientific research in the area.
03
Promote the training of human resources.
There are currently three pieces of equipment in operation, they are:
01
Magnetometer, equipment designed to measure the Earth's magnetic field.
02
Ionosonde, equipment designed to study the Earth's outermost layer, the ionosphere.
03
All-Sky imager, equipment designed to study so-called ionospheric bubbles.

Research interests
01
Sun-Earth Relations
Seek to understand how the transfer of energy and matter occurs between these two bodies and the consequences for human activity.
02
Environment
Study how the external environment can influence the environment and, consequently, human activity.
03
Geomagnetism
Study how a geomagnetic storm occurs to find defense mechanisms.
